Home Sweet Home

December 4, 2010

Saturday morning we got up E-A-R-L-Y to head to Bentonville. It's usually a three-hour-and-45-minute drive going through Y-City, but, with our huge moving truck, we had to take the Interstate. It was a lovely, uneventful drive and really didn't seem like it was as long as it was.

My poor mama woke up with the stomach bug that has been going around, so she didn't get to go with us. :( At least she is feeling better now. :)

After some stops and lunch at the Cracker Barrel in Alma (Emily's country!), we made it safe and sound...and began the process of unloading. Thank God for dollies.

With Uncle Chuck's help, we finished ahead of schedule--even getting the kitchen set up!--and got to go eat at Ruby Tuesday. *MMM salad bar*

This is our home! I am in love with it. :)

Sweets for the Sweet

Bobby and Beverly were so sweet to send us a Valentine's Day card with a Valentine's Day gift (card). :)

After debating about what to do for dinner and what to cook this week, we finally decided to go to Cracker Barrel and use their gift. (We had to eat dinner because 1) we were hungry and 2) we had to go grocery shopping--and you should never go grocery shopping hungry!)

After dinner, we probably spent 20 minutes trying to find a treat with the remaining balance. But the only we could find was candy--and that is the LAST thing we need, especially after the Easter clearance sales. ;) (Candy Addicts Anonymous, right?!) I finally suggested to Zach we buy the Moon Pies we had been craving and save the rest of the card for another dinner.

2 dinners = awesome

Thanks for making our weekend great, whether we were with you or not! We love you!!
